cham eating plants

my boy cham is eating his plants. I'm not sure why i am feeding him 5 crickets at 7:00 a.m. and 5 at 7:00 p.m. any answer would be great.

I am assuming he is a Veild?? what kind of plants is he eating? Veilds are plant eaters also, so you have to make sure the plants are chamelon safe. Veilds also will eat certain fruits and vegetables.

Plant eating can also be a sign that they need more hydration. But if still a young veil, he might just be hungry for more than just 10 crickets a day.

I would try feeding him all 10 before noon. I believe a forum consensus is they should have time to bask and digest well before lights out.

he is a veiled and the plant is safe. Thank you for all your help i will try all your suggestions.

i have tried feeding him lettuce but he did not eat it. What kind of veggies do you feed your chams??
