When I mean things I am meaning good thermometers, what plants are beat for their cages, what to put at the bottom of the cage (right now I have paper towels), what type of stick/climbing stuff should I put in there. Yes the list you gave me is perfect, I was just wondering what proper things were needed. Thank you for the articles, this was great help!

• I use inexpensive digital hygrometer/thermometers with probes—accurate, nothing fancy, gets the job done.
• I like this theory/tutorial on plants, but there are other plants as well.
• Best thing on the bottom of the enclosure is nothing unless you go full bioactive. My enclosure bottom is screen on top of egg crate—part of the drainage system. Cleans up with weekly vacuuming & disinfecting with a spritz of Nature's Miracle for Stinky Reptiles.
• Aside from live plants & vines, sticks can be anything deciduous (avoid conifers), bamboo, dowels, vinyl garden stakes...

Thank you so much!! Tomorrow I am going to need to get some more things for him, including different stuff to put in his cage to make it seem more suitable for him, different supplements (I will be doing tons of research to find the best one for him), more crickets. Also speaking of crickets, I am having lots of trouble breeding my own crickets, are the crickets from petco safe? I will make sure to fill out that form and he has a vet appointment scheduled for him in a month, I’m aware that is a little bit of a wait but it’s the only time I could get him in. Is there anything I need to know before I take him? Sorry for the many questions but what are good things to put in a chams cage? Like what brands are good, what type of materials are not ok for a chameleon? Right now he is sleeping (it is currently 10:00 pm) but tomorrow I will take pics of him and his entire cage.

Crickets are usually cheaper and healthier when bought online. That goes for all feeder insects as well.

I use it to disinfect & deodorize wherever my lizards have ed.

Some folks prefer peroxide; some prefer vinegar & water. Vinegar solutions may take longer to air out.

I've tried these and more, and I prefer the NM. YMMV.

My chameleon normally goes to sleep around 10, and I always make sure I’m not holding him or that he isn’t out of his cage around that time. But last night I wasn’t paying attention to the time and I have him in my hand. He crawled up on my shirt and fell asleep, I made sure to put him right back but I read that that would be very dangerous if your Cham falls asleep on you. Idk if it was because he was stressed or if he was just tired.

Don't feel bad I just went to PetSmart today and got baited into a husbandry convo with an employee. ( I was excited to talk in person to someone with the same interests) then he hit me with, " why are you holding him?" I told he this stresses him out -then got hit with how it tames them to handle them. He instructed that I try to hold him 2-3 times a week for 30 mins a day. (I felt backed in a corner)
I am totally ok with not touching Sméagol. We have a mutual respect of touch me nots. I love having a mini forest in my room ;he loves our morning yoga workouts. I see beautiful colors at 7:45 am for feedings ; any feeding past 8pm he gives me black when I come close to cage. I am allow to spot clean during the day ; he will play wears Waldo behind the smallest vine .
I have only picked him up with a stick in a matter of months . My guy has been grouchy since birth. He has no interest in coming out his cage !That's the perfect pet for me .
My daughter does have a neared dragon that is a baby doll. This sucker does anything to be held . Very sweet and eats about 20 cricket a day. My daughter is a teenager and named him Uzi . They are very tamed
