Cham Not Falling Asleep

I'm sure I'm being paranoid, but I'm a little concerned.

My 4 month old Panther's lights went off around 9 and he's still awake. It's now 11:30.

All lights in the room are off. I noticed it took him a little while to fall asleep last night, but not this long. I fed him his first Roach earlier at about 4:30 PM. He had already ate his daily crickets. I'm hoping he was able to digest it all the way. The roach was somewhat bigger than the crickets he usually eats, but wasn't too big by any means.

This is his third night in his new cage. I realize he could be adjusting, but this is out of the ordinary. He usually starts winding down an hour before lights out.

Other than that, the only problem has been keeping humidity up in his new cage. It ranges from 40-60%. It mostly stays up in the 55-60% range.

-He recently recovered from an unknown illness. I have not seen any signs of illness in a week and half. This could be nothing, but anything out of the ordinary freaks me out now. Has anyone ever had a Cham stay up 2 1/2 hours after bed time?

Well I'm no expert but my veild is up now and its 12 he went to sleep around 6 30 7 so idk hopefully he's OK and somebody give better feedback good luck

o_O

Well mine are passed out :p

(had to go make sure, wouldnt want a bunch of zombie chams attacking!)

Id say its irregular behavior for sure.

If they wake up just to reposition, that is common, but actually being awake and active after lights out is very odd.

Well he's asleep now! Thank god.

I didn't have any lights on in the room. I think he was just having a weird night. He seemed to be trying to fall asleep, but was just chilling out on the screen. Maybe he's still getting used to his new home. The first night I got him, he slept on a flower all sprawled out and flat. Lol. I'd never seen any of my Cham's sleep that way before. I guess it just takes some time to get comfortable in a new place.

He's such a sweetheart, but he's had me on a roller-coaster since day one. The slightest change turns into a huge ordeal. Bless his little heart.

This is basically what he did until he fell asleep. He didn't move, looked asleep, but had his eyes open. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't check to see where my Cham's are after the lights go off. It's not like they are going to take off. Lol. I just like to make sure. : )

i have a flap neck cham that sleeps in our room he seems to sleep alright when i turn his lights out he normally goes to sleep a hour or so after that and we sleep with our tv on i also at times when i know its going to be cold i leave his heat lamp on because i live in a old house that can be airy at times. also i live in oregon so it is normally anywhere from the 40's in the morning to around 60 at mid day. but yeah he seems to sleep well but that may just be because hes weird xD

My chams rarely go more than a few hours without being checked on, at any time of day. I think its great to keep an eye on them.

You leave the basking light on at nite?
What type of light is it?

This should never be done IMO.
