This was my very first Chameleon. She was in a horrible wannabe pet store in the back with an owner that did not know his head from, well you know... He went on to say that he thought it was a she and had two in a small aquarium together. With the help of this forum and many hours or reading and studying at home and at work and enough funds to put together a decent home for her I went back to rescue them... unfortunately sis was dead at the bottom of the cage and she was very dehydrated. Owner said take her as he was tossing them out . I was sad I was not able to rescue both but wanted to be sure I could afford and had the knowledge to not take them from one bad situation to another.
After 2 months she is Eva as my daughter has named her and our joy! As I study and read more I am wondering if she was a Senegal as she really looks like a Flap-Neck Chameleo Dilepis. Can anyone do an assist?
Thanks to all of you that helped me without even knowing and helped save Eva!
