Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What kind of schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?

Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
-bottle mister, when misting the cage both of them will come over to the water bottle and drink from it and the leaves. We also have a Fluker's drip bottle on top of the cage.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings.
We've only seen the female use the bathroom, there was 3 segments 1st was white and 2nd and 3rd were greenish brown.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
-We've only had them since the 21st, we purchased them from an expo in South Carolina from FLChams.
Current Problem - The current problem that you are concerned about.
-I have two questions. We have witnessed them show some strange behavior.
The first time we saw it I was feeding both chams. I heard this cry like a cat with a hairball. I looked up and the female ballooned up, mouth open, necked swelled, and body real tall and fat. Then she arched her body into an "S" shape. She did the "S" shape for about 10 seconds, but it took a couple minutes for her to go back to her normal size. Then two days later she showed the same behavior. I thought maybe she was choking or the roach was getting stuck in her throat.
Yesterday I saw the male do the same exact thing. When the male did it, I was watering the cage. I had not feed him anything for a while. I got kind of close to him with the water bottle and he just swelled up.
Is this a defensive posture? Are they trying to use the bathroom/constipated/impaction? Is it like a yawn/strech?
Second Question:
Ive seen the female present her colors twice, but not at the same time that the above happened. The last time it happened was about 7:30 this morning. She will stop and get VERY bright with her blacks spots, they look like freckles. Is she pissed off and telling me to get back? She kind of has this stance like shes mad??
Im new to chams, I did a lot of reading before I purchased them to make sure that I was prepared for owning such a high maintenance pet...but this behavior just doesn't seem right to me?
I have a video of her showing her colors but I dont know that I can load it to the forum. I'll try to get my fiance to download it.
Thanks,
Brittney
