I have a question what’s better to fog your chameleons at night or should I mist them I plan on getting a chameleon really soon I just don’t know If I should fog the tank or mist It at night

You will get mixed answers on this. If you can achieve higher humidity at night with cool temps with misting and the type of enclosure set up then you do not have to fog. If you can not but still can achieve a night time lower of at least 67-68 then you can fog at night.
I do not fog because I do not need to with my hybrid set up, tons of plants, and misting schedule. I can easily get a high ambient humidity at night without adding fog.
Remember fogging is another form of hydration with this it can be over done as well and you can throw your cham into an overly hydrated state. You see extremely runny urates with this that have no form to them. And fogging is not safe if you can not get low enough night time temps because you create an environment where a cham can develop an RI.

Thank you I really do appreciate It I love chameleons so much that I want to make sure that I get It right for my first time I love reptiles and all of that but my number one favorite was always and still Is a chameleon that’s why I want to make sure that I get all the stuff I need before I get a chameleon
