I prefer October. Lets replace my birthday with NATIONAL CHAMELEON DAY!August IS a good month to have it, if we were to create one. I like that there's no other wide spread holidays that month.
August 10th is Hayleys though. We want more for our kids, Becca. Sheesh.I prefer October. Lets replace my birthday with NATIONAL CHAMELEON DAY!
My kid gets everything... Like I have holes in my socks and she does not everything.August 10th is Hayleys though. We want more for our kids, Becca. Sheesh.
BradI looked into that and there is nothing to support their claim.
There are 13 federal holidays. Chameleon Day should be #14.
How about the second day of Spring April 2nd (not April 1)? The beginning of chameleons in the northern hemisphere (in captivity and the wild) going outside and experience the best weather of the year.
Best Regards

I posted that consideration already. The birthday post has been considered too. I think nobody is going for that type of embellishment except for maybe the historical Chamaeleonidae taxonomic reference.Uhh shouldnt the day be a time when everyone can take their chams outside?
That would be ideal. Definitely a disadvantage to an October date.Uhh shouldnt the day be a time when everyone can take their chams outside?
Looks like that would be July 24.The day that Chameleon Forums had its first post. I know how much this site has meant to me and so many others, so it makes sense!
You are right. I did not confirm the date. The first day of Spring is March 20th. I am for March 20th day being Chameleon day.@Motherlode Chameleon , isn't the first day of spring in the US March 19th, 20th or 21st? I could be wrong...
Besides, that is still post-winter for a lot of folks

But that would not be very noteworthy for people outside the forum.
However, In chameleon species native habitat in the Northern hemisphere that is the start of hatching season.@Motherlode Chameleon , isn't the first day of spring in the US March 19th, 20th or 21st? I could be wrong...
