Issue: 5 days ago I noticed one eye beginning to close intermittentingly, then over the next 2 days both began to close. He has not been eating his food due to this. Prior to this his health seemed fine. Now he is walking round his cage with eyes open but bumping in to things almost as if he cannot see, his eyes do not seem to react to movement so I suspect he cannot see. My concern this is both eyes and if there was something trapped it would be rare to have it in both. However I have washed his eyes with warm water aswell and no help really. I’ve been trying to string water into him to keep him a bit hydrated as if he can’t see I’m unsure he’s drinking aswell. I’ve booked an appointment at the vet for tomorrow but I’m wondering if anyone has had anything similar? Ooo is still solid with a white/orange urate. Basically symptoms:
None reaction to movement
Lack of directional ability
Loss of appetite
Lack of aggression/energy (could be due to not being able to see)
Eyes closing on and off
I’ve attached some photos of set up and his physical condition.
