Chameleon has dark spots on and around his head

My 3 month old male veiled chameleon, Killer Mike, has these black spots on and around his head and they only seem to appear at night. During the day they're completely gone and he looks normal. This might be nothing but just wanted to make sure.

I keep my chameleon's enclosure at or around 90 degrees during the day and the humidity ranges from 40-70% all day and stays around 70% at night. Thanks for the help!

That is normal, it is just your chameleon developing new colours. I was worried at first when this happened to mine but I realized that nothing was wrong. Here is the same example with my little guy
