Chameleon ID *obviously fischeri, But what kind*

Chameleon ID *Thought to be fischers >.> it is not!*

Well, Long story short, This guy has been sitting at my local petstore for about 3 months or so, i have been watching him. here is the deal though, he has not changed in size at all, not to mention only about 6"s SNV and probably 50-60 grams if that.

he came in at that size and has changed much if any. My question is to me he looks like your typical Fischers, but i am not certain on the species of Fischers, this has been driving me nuts.

its between fischeri fischeri and fischeri multituberculatum but then even there i am probably wrong.

*he came from eco regional about 3-4 months ago almost same size.

his yellows get bright with hints of black outlinings.

i could probably pick him up for about 90 if i chose too, Dewormed and has had clean fecals and floats.

Sorry if they are blurry, i was on a 8' ladder he is kept up high cause traffic is high. i do feel a little bad as he has no real plants... at least they got rid of the CFL.

Poor little fellah, im not familiar with fischers. Youd be better off asking Chris Anderson or Trace. But he looks like he needs someone to rescue him outta there. And whats CFL? Just curious.

CFL is compact flourescents bulbs. the ones that can cause blindness.

they are actually a really good pet store not a chain its a mom and pop, and i have known them for 25 years outta the 35 years they have been in business, I know all their staff and speak with them every day about what they can do to improve his cage.

rescueing in a sense would only be different cause id offer live plants an try to offer cooler temps/ more moisture.

other then that he is fed well, eats well, and has good coloring *from what i can tell*.

funny you bring me that article eisen, i was just reading that last night. but it still doesn't explain his size differences for the specfies, he should be roughly around 8-9 months.

Actually it is not a Fischer's at all. Everything that people have been calling Fischer's are not actually fischeri at all. Here are two things you should check out:

The animal you have in those photos is a male Kinyongia multituberculata or Western Usambara Two-horned Chameleon.

The body size seems normal to me, if he was 4 inches then maybe not.
He just looks healthy, I'd snatch him up, especially at that price.

Pick that boy up He looks good and if he has already been dewormed that is a big plus!!!! BTW, when you do get him prepare for more Kinyongia species in the future!!! I love how active the 2 K. species I have are.

He will be there for a while, I will pick him up in a month or so when my work evens out.

i think I am the only chameleon owner that goes there. But yah he looks good no problems in the 4 months they have had him.

But i really want quadie =p.

I will pick this guy up for someone *if he is 90* and hold him for some time till it cools down and will ship him if someone wants to do that.

6" SVL is about full size. Males of this species typically reaches just over 13 inches total length and the tail is slightly longer then the SVL. He looks very healthy and as Cain said, Kinyongia are amazing animals.
