CHAMELEON IS VERY DARK WHEN IN CAGE

My vieled chameleon is very dark and i dont have my light on. should i turn it on?

Not if it is night time. And sometimes they will be dark in the cage.

i saw on a different post that he is a brand new cham. Don't bother him as he is stressed enough already. Give him some space and make sure his cage is in a low traffic part of the house
