Chameleon shedding

Hey guys,

My chameleon is about 5 months old. I've had him for about a month now but I have not seen him shed anything. Is there a time frame when chameleons shed like every month, every 3 weeks, or what?

I know that if he isn't shedding then that could be an issue.

My humidity is at a constant 60% all day (live in Florida). I'm not sure is that matters or not but thought it might.

Thanks!

What kind of chameleon do you have? I wouldn't worry too much about it. As they get older the length of time between sheds get longer. Also instead of producing a snow storm they will shed one piece of their body at a time.

In my experience they can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a month and a half at that age, depending on it's growth. I wouldn't worry too much about it for now, I always write the days down that they shed so I know to the exact day; incase I thought it was a month ago but really it was 2 weeks ago. Might set your mind at ease!
