I have had my 2 ambilobe panther cham's for about 7 months they were born in sept of 2016, I was sold them as a male and female from different clutches, they are 10 months old. they are healthy eat good and are very friendly , my question is when should I expect the colors to start coming out in my male I can see hints of colors sometimes but as far as him being colorful like his dad when can I expect those colors to start being around? I seen his dad in person and he is amazing so im just wondering as im new to this

Some display vibrant colors much earlier than others. Even clutch mates will differ drastically. I would expect with each new shed, the colors should start to pop around this age. But don't be disappointed if it takes a few more months.

This is one of them

The 2 pictures you posted are pics of a female. I was afraid you had females if you waited 10 months and weren't seeing any color.
Is that both panthers or 2 pictures of the same animal?

the pic of my cham in the cage is the one who i was told was a female, the cham on the wooden crate is the one who was sold to me as the male

that explains it lol i guess ill be on the look out for a male now, maybe the breeder who sold them to me will give me a deal on an actual male since he sold me one as a male lol, i have 2 new cages for them and a room im setting up at my new house just for the chams so i will have the room

I think he should give you a deal, I bet he charged you more for the "male". maybe he'll take back one of the females in trade for a male?
