Chandler is going to the vet

@kinyonga Just wanted to say thank you for all your helpful charts, articles, column's, info... on and on and on... HUGE thank you for being you!! Reading others posts, and your replies often gives me answers to questions I have not even thought to ask!!

100% agree, you are a wealth of knowledge and SO helpful to so many people on this site, you really are a great person @kinyonga!!!

Thanks @hopps31 ..I appreciate the compliments. I need to remember comments like yours and Katacara's when I get frustrated saying the same things over and over and explaining things even more clearly when people don't understand! :)

Honestly you are so patient telling the same thing over and over, you are a much better person than me, I have no patience, I just want to scream READ & REASEARCH:D

Another update on Chandler, today was the last day of his anti-inflammatory. Still not eating quite like normal, but he is eating.

I have been disinfecting the cage, I had a bearded dragon have it as well and it is being treated with ponazuril. I'm pretty thorough when it comes comes to the care of my pets. Literally Chandler's mouth looked almost normal, but I managed to notice that his lip wasn't lining up right in two spots, it was out by less than a half of a millimeter. I have dealt with Coccidia before.

So in the course of Chandler's vet visit, and the subsequent after care, I've discovered that he has a what I have called his "Grumpy corner" in his cage. It corresponds to the top right back corner of his cage. If he is in this corner, then it's best to leave him alone lol. Oddly enough, that corner despite being pretty barren for foliage, is actually covered from view from all angles except for the front of the cage.

What med did they give you for the Coccidia? The reason I ask because if it is Albon, you are better off with the Ponzuril. It does not seem to effect their appetite.

I'm so glad he is doing better! Even if he is grumpy!

@carol5208 if you read the one reply of mine, I stated Ponazuril. I think they misspelled it, but the one you said doesn't affect appetite.
