Check Out These Little Munchkins!!!

I was absolutely astounded Monday lunchtime when I popped home to find three baby Hoehnelli Chameleons in Hansel and Gretel's cage. I've only had the adults since September so she must have been gravid when I bought her. Major panic for me as I was not prepared and it was totally unexpected! Unfortunately I know they are very difficult to raise but I will try my very best.

Well here goes with the pics of one of them. Wish I had put some handcream on first lol!

Lol it was a surprise alright. I was totally unprepared. Thank you. Yes Netty has been helping me in my mad panic. Yes there was only three, it was Gretel's first batch.

Yay for Netty! I remember her being stressed with her baby Ho's! I love that no matter how small, they can all do the 'karate hand' pose to perfection, lol!

I know exactly how she felt lol. They are so small the only way I can move them is to let them climb on my finger or a small twig. At least they don't gape at me now lol.

I think there are varying opinions on them living together. Mine do although it seems that Gretel was gravid when I bought her. Hansel seems to respect her funnily enough and they look quite content whilst not getting too close.

Well why would you want to stop watching them? They are adorable, tiny little scraps of new life. Just enjoy them, and I am sure they will do fine. With someone who has had them there to answer questions, they will do great for you.

I can't help it lol. They are teeny tiny replicas of their parents.

Thanks both. These are Gretel's first babies and I have heard that they can have a smaller number at first. First unexpected babies lol.

Ha ha, at least you know roughly when they are coming and aren't just hanging off the top of the cage and plants one lunchtime.
