Closes eyes and hides in corner

He was doing better and moving around a lot and now whenever i try to feed him he will close his eyes and hide

Current Problem - Hiding and closing eyes i don’t know what else i could be doing wrong

Looks like you're using a compact fluorescent bulb. Replace it with a linear UVB tube light. The compact ones like you have have a long history of causing eye problems.

I would definitely stop handling him so much, too! If he is closing his eyes and hiding, handling is just going to stress him out way more. A vet visit may be in order, I believe this problem has been going on for a while now

For a while he was looking around never had his eyes closed and was eating like crazy and then it seemed like I’m back at square one

If the urate is orange that indicates dehydration.. unfortunately hand misting isn't really that great of an option for chameleons most won't drink or eat with you standing around their cage and man you have to be misting a lot.. my misting system goes off depending on the heat I'm in cali so when it's around upper 80's every 4 hours for at least 5 mins giving him multiple opportunities to drink orange urate is concerning.. if your hand misting I would mist for 10 mins in the morning as soon as he gets up and then for 5 mins 3 more times thought the day letting his enclosure dry out over night.

Make sure you have one about 6 inches down below your basking light. you can get Reptisun on Amazon. I get mine locally at a pet shop but I know Amazon sells them. If you have Amazon prime you can get them in two days. As far ad the orange urate...you said it was white with a little orange. That is ok. I wouldnt be concerned about that right now.

The mister has a button where i can set it and it will keep spraying without me holding it down so should i set it and walk away and he eats from a Tupperware that i hold

That is the hood I'm talking about! That's why you need drainage and no substrate. Misting is important and if your Cham is dehydrated that's not great.. this is what I have for drainage holes in the bottom. I think the light that comes with that one is a 10.0
