He is almost a year old, I would say 10-11 months I don’t know if he’s trying to look for a female to mate with, but I don’t have any other chameleons he’s my only one.How old is he?
He is definitely more of the social chameleon he loves to just come out and relax with people! As far as the dimensions of his cage goes, he’s in a 24x18x36 enclosure. I’ll attach a picture of his colors usually, but the biggest change is the striping on his face, he usually doesn’t have it which makes me think he’s looking for a lady friend! How has his color changed? Has he become more bright and vibrant? I also think he’s at that age where he wants to find a pretty girl and make eggs. He is beautiful btw.Other reasons that chameleons will try to get out of their enclosure is it is too small (needs to be at least 2x2x4’) or something else is making them unhappy with it and they are trying to escape. Or, you could have a panther that just wants to come out and sit on your arm for no particular reason that you can figure out.

This is EXACTLY what Spike did around this age. He started really roaming around his enclosure faster trying to get out. But it was more just "roaming" than it was trying to escape at first. We noticed he specifically was trying to get out only when my wife was near him while she was wearing a specific multi-colored shirt that just happened to look similar to female colors when they're in the mood.He is almost a year old, I would say 10-11 months I don’t know if he’s trying to look for a female to mate with, but I don’t have any other chameleons he’s my only one.
