Concerned

It does look like he has something in his eye. You can try giving him extremely long misting sessions where he might be able to wash the eye himself in the meantime. But, since he has been rubbing it a lot, it might be scratched or infected and need medication. Definitely remove the compact UVB bulb.

My veiled got something in his eye when he was a baby and it got swollen and he wouldn't open it, I put a little saline solution on a q-tip and gently washed his eye and it was like a miracle immediately his eye was better and normal

So just so I know - this is a 16x16x30 terrarium - the bulb is a 5.0 bulb in a mini dome - the long tube style lights just won't fit on this tank - there had to be a light that fits these types of tanks no? And thanks for all the help everyone

Hi guys sorry for delay in responding and I'll post some pics - my breeder said could be something in his eye and to flush it with contact solution??? Like that's easy and how? He seems to be rolling his eye around - don't know how to post video. His temp is 85 in tank, humidity 70% - I've only had him for 1 week so he's only been eating fruit flys and crickets with calcium powder on them though his tank gets misted 5 times a day so any crickets in their that he didn't get will lose their calcium - someone said maybe vitamin a deficiency but dang after 1 week?
In most of your post's I keep reading he's in a tank! I keep all mine in screen cages! If you have substrate in the bottom of your tank he maybe got some substrate in his eye & its causing him problems! Just a thought!
