Congratulations to ferretinmyshoes

Congratulations Dayna! I am still on the fence of what I really want to go to school for, leaning towards Architect but to become a vet would be a dream. Or a biologist, but I HATE Chemistry with a burning passion. -.-" You have accomplished something that people would dream of doing, yet never being able to have that chance. Especially getting to move to the best place ever such as Denver! Gahh. One more year and I can go there myself. UCCS ;) I'm going to go drool over my information packet they sent me! Have a great summer and enjoy what you have! You'll be a great asset to all of the Veterinarians out there, someday you'll be the best one out there!

Beautiful picture! Thank you for dedicating your life to the sake of helping animals. I am currently interning at an animal hospital, and it is a wonderful place dedicate time and love to. So many animals need help, and the work that veterinarians and their technicians/staff do to provide comfort and medical assistance to these creatures just blows me away. It is such a different environment than a hospital, and every day is life changing. Best of luck to you in your future career, God bless you for what you do, and if all of the animals you will help in the future could thank you, I know they would be! :)

I love that picture! You looks so professional. Is that your dog?

Thanks! Yes, that's my baby girl! Her name is Moki and she's my little hound mix shelter pup. She's such a good girl and always keeps me smiling. Moki has lymphoma (terminal cancer) and she went through five months of chemo like a champ and she's been in complete remission now for a year (which is really good)! It's just a rule that vets aren't allowed to have healthy normal animals. :p

Thank you everyone for all your sweet sentiments! It means a lot to me to have all of you behind me. :) Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. ;)

wow thats a wonderful achivement i wish you all the best in your great new carrer i know youve help many people and now you can help many more

Congratulations and well done, I wish i'd gone into the field of work i'm most interested in. Hope it all works out great for you =)

Regards
Sam

Congrats Dayna, you must be feeling VERY proud, and I know that all of us on CF who have either gotten direct guidance or learned from your advice to others are very proud of you and happy for you for achieving such a monumental task!! Hopefully you'll still be handing out the welcome words of wisdom now that you are officially a Vet!!
