Constipated

Wow! Thank you very much! I didn't know that!
I'll do that tomorrow again if he doesn't poop. He didn't show stress colours, does it mean he wasn't stressed? I tried to climb out but after a few minutes he gave up and just sat in there. I'm assuming the longer I keep him in the water the better, but how long is it enough approximately?

Sorry, now I see you already said yours is for 10-15 min in the water.
No poop today either, just tries... He (or may be she)was in the bathtub for almost 10 min.today.

well, you did get a firm poop not more than 48 hours ago. and by your account, he's still happily eating when he wants and drinking. mabrams said it well; i would continue as is and update us.

has he ever been checked for parasites? some of the larger worms can cause impactions in large numbers. probably not his issue but....you never know until you look.

Well that's just it: he started to eat waaay less in the last week, still eats but less then usual and drinks too. And he was dewormed a week ago.(He had a little bit more pinworms)
But he was very-very active today, enjoyed the sunshine thru the window and climbed on everything free ranged...

i believe that's the first time you mentioned that he had worms and was recently dewormed. i don't know what medication or dosage that was used, but it's not uncommon for chams to have some mild GI issues post-deworming, particularly with known parasites. this really should have been said at the very beginning, unless i missed it.

Sorry, I didn't mention, because I particularly asked the vet about side effects but she said it doesn't cause anything.
What is optimal for night temperature? I was wondering that the problem is that may be?! We renovated our bedroom-where he is-and now it is nice worm, which means after the lamps turn off the temp is around 72 for hours. In the morning it is cooler though. But he has always been sleeping in our bedroom.
He got Panacur, I think 0,02 ml orally, repeated after two weeks.
Thank you!

So there were 3 poop yesterday! G was hyper active yesterday, but it was 'cause of the poop may be.
So Panacur can cause constipation? The appetite is not the best yet, but eats at least.

Ok,how come that after pooping she can't poop again? I give her water every day. She didn't eat much the last week. I know,no income no poop, but why can it happen?
Can they take human laxative? Tiny dosis? I'll take her to the vet tomorrow.
We took x-ray on Saturday,I'll try to post the pic about it.
By the way, my cham is female.

Sorry, I just saw, I wrote in the first thread that she is a month old. I'd like to correct myself, she is about 6 months old!!
