Could my juvenile be pregnant? Is it easy?

Hello all! I have had my veiled chameleon for over 2 months now, so she is still a juvenile. I am not sure exactly how old she is, because I don't know what her age was when I got her, but I'd guess around 4-5 months. Her body is around 5 inches, would anyone know how old she is?
Anyways, my friend has a male veiled, and we were hoping to breed them at some point. I've read that they can be ready to mate at as early as 4 months, but is it even healthy then? And is it even likely? I've read it is hard to breed chameleons, however she has spent plenty of time with the male before for various reasons. They loved eachother at first, and the male was always trying to climb all over the female. Now, a few weeks later, when we try to put them together the female wants nothing to do with the male and even hisses at him. Is it possible she is pregnant already? She isn't showing much for coloration yet besides dark brown, but she is very young. However, she shows a lot of other signs, such as not wanting to be around the male at all.

Thanks!

First question is why are you putting the male and female together if the female is so young and small, no good can come of it. How much does the female weigh? If you post some pictures we could probably tell you if she's mature or gravid or receptive.

They were together just as friends. I have heard that you shouldn't put two males together, but it is supposed to be fine to have a male and female together, as long as they don't live together. They were fine for the first couple of times they were put together, and we didn't intend to breed them. Then out of no where things got hairy. I will attach a picture soon.
