Creating a double-wide?

Has anyone ever attempted to connect two of the 2x2x4 DIY or LLL cages side-by-side by leaving out one panel on each side of the cage and some how attaching the two so it is a double wide? How would I go about doing that?

If you leave a panel out on each I would just ziptie them together just in case you ever want to take them back apart you will just have small holes in the screen where the zipties went.

Its pretty easy. I dont have the exact measurements, but you get 2x2ft and 2x 4ft 1" wide aluminum cut at lowes. Then you drill some holes and use some self taping sheetmetal screws and you are good to go.

This was also something I had thought about. Seams pretty straight forward. Give it a go!
