Cricket Breeding

I want to buy crickets, so I could breed them for my chameleon, but how big should the crickets be so they could start breeding? How many crickets should I get?

Most breeders get 1000 to start with I've heard, the females are the ones with the stick off their butt, usually they'll seperate the females into another container and then they'll lay, etc. Most use large I believe.

Should I get them when they start growing wings?

I really don't think the wings matter. I rarely see a winged one and I still get babies.
