This youngster seems to to not be eating well and I'm really concerned about him. His eyes just don't seem open all the way most of the time. I've done all suggestions I got in a previous thread but wanted to to see if maybe he just won't eat cuz these Cruz are too big. Any thoughts?

Hun can you get close up pics of both eyes? something is not right with them. The orientation of the pupal is not centered at all.

@Kaizen do you see what I am seeing. What could that be from?

Actually the other eye has been an issue since I got him a cpl weeks ago. The right eye has looked fine until just recently

How long have you had the baby now? what are the supplements and lighting?
I've had him a cpl weeks now. I'd have to find other thread I posted. I'm supplementing with calcium everyday and with d3 twice a month as suggested. I was advised in that thread to put a 10.0 bulb in this fixture as they were felt the 5.0 I got with it wasn't correct. He's misted three times a day for a cpl minutes at a time.

Is the fixture a T5 or T8? And is the calcium you use everyday without D3?

Were his eyes always like this since you got him?

T8 and was advised to put a 10.0 bulb in it, which I did. Daily calcium is without d3 as advised here. I think from my previous post one of his eyes hasn't looked good since I got him or just a day or two later.

Ok well that info is correct. Just trying to narrow down that it isn't a supplement or lighting issue.

How much do you think he has been eating? Drinking we can get around with fogging baby at night when temps are cooler. He will hydrate that way breathing in the cool moist air.

It is not normal at all. Time to start calling around to exotic vets. You want one with chameleon experience if possible.

Hasn't really been eating well since I got him. A few days ago I actually saw him eating for the first time and got excited that he may be doing better. Then this morning noticed issue with both eyes I don't think he's eating well at all. I'm gonna find a vet tomorrow and get him in somewhere. Thanks for trying to help.

I have reached out to a few people that are much much more experienced then I am. I will let you know what they say when I hear back. Where do you live we might be able to recommend a good vet for him?

How are the urates? Per your original question feeder size would be no larger then 1/4 of an inch... And I would load that feeder run so there is a lot of movement. If his vision is off which I suspect it is then it may help him notice them there.

His eyelids are hanging so low to his pupil that it may be hard for him to tag his feeders.

What about a multivitamin? Eye problems are often associated with vitamin A deficiency.

Here's one I just got of both eyes. One looks much better than a cpl hours ago
