Im just curious...
Is there any cricket species that are better than the other ones?
Im wondering this, because, I have two different kind of species in my big boxes...
One of them is the comercial cricket, its kind of black and has hard shittin, and the other one is the tropical house cricket, wich its really common in here where I live.... the tropical one seems much softer than the other one...
Im guessing the tropical are better than the hard ones? they seem more mushy, and fatty... (big stomach? ... big load? )
Or are they both the same?

by tropical house cricket i mean: Gryllodes sigillatus
black harder one is: acheta domesticus

not too sure i know here we have the evil "black crickets from hell" and the regular brown crickets.
i have witnessed the black ones being alot more hardy and easy to keep and grow big, but they are mean and bite and look nasty... im not a big fan.
i like the brown ones lol

i dont know my latin cricket names but i do not believe they are the same
