I'm sad to say I'm not sure how much longer he is going to make it. He is getting worse and at this point he is not even trying to hold on to anything . He did poop but it was almost all liquid. I can take him to the vet tomorrow and they said they can squeeze me in but want to know your guys opinions

i was watching a video on my phone when my Cham was sick. he was at the point similar to this. lathargic and barely holding on to branches. when i say him pooping it was just coming out like water. he didnt seem to have MBD but i think parasites. i got it from a local pet store where i got my first iguana from years ago, so i trusted them also they are the only store to have exotic pets. most wild ones have parasites and we dont even know it. I hate reading stories like this, so this is why i created my account, just to give my 2 cents in any similar situation. is your Cham stretching out his mouth?

What do you mean by stretching it out?

I would assume this is more related to possible parasites, or lots of liquid intake in the last few hours with no food. I don't know how much good taking him to the vet would do. I honestly think he would just die from the stress but if he makes it until tomorrow I would try at least. I don't think he will be able to continue much longer without vet intervention. If they try to treat for parasites, because honestly he may be so bad he absolutely needs to have it done try to get them to give him fluids first. And also try to do smaller amounts of parasite treatment for longer times than anything else. Doing it all at once in my opinion in his state is too dangerous. Try increasing his electrolyte intake to 2 cc a day. Is he drinking from the mistings from the mistking at all?

I'm sorry to say that he didn't just pass :(

Awww I am so sorry hun *hugs* you gave him a chance, at least he didn't go without a chance.
What a sad update. Sleep well little Dino.
It was brave of you to give him a chance at life. Condolences.
Thanks guys. Maybe if I would got him sooner who knows I tried my best though . I'll give it a day of peace before I let my girl out on his awsome free range(also probably going to clean it should I use vinegar?)

I'm so sorry... That must be so hard. I'm sure a lot of us can relate, and I'm praying that he rests in peace... My many condolences and respects. You tried to save an animal many other people would have ignored, and that is a noble, honorable thing.

:( This is sad news. We were all hoping there was time to bring him around. I feel your pain. He was cared for in the end in more than one way, take solace in knowing that.
