DIY humidifier/misting system?

I've been wanting to buy or make a humidifier/misting system. I've seen people make a homemade humidifier/misting sytstem, but I don't know how they do it! Can you guys help me out?

There are various ways and which to try depends on the design of the humidifier you find. Very simply, find an ultrasonic humidifier that has a movable spout fixture on the top (where the fog comes out). Remove the spout and get some pvc pipe or tubing that fits into the opening very snugly. Then assemble sections of pipe or tubing so you can direct the fog into your cage...at the top, because the fog will drop down over the plants. If you do a forum search on ultrasonic fogger, ultrasonic humidifer, etc. I think some more details and design ideas will crop up.
