DIY pygmy enclosure

I was thinking of building one for some pygmys but obviously on a smaller scale. Would that work as long as I sealed it with that ronsil weather protection stuff etc? and also how much mesh would I need?

actually I may scrap that idea due to humidity etc. I will prob go for the rubbermaid idea converted into an enclosure with a mesh lid etc.
