I have a bout a 6 month old male vieled Chan and I curious if they get a attachment of some sort to their owners? Feels like he thinks I'm new all the time lol

Chams are very skiddish creatures and do not like to be touched or handled so don't feel bad if it seems as if he doesn't like you. Evenetually he will become more calm but he is still young. All he needs is time.

I purchased an established male last fall, he was 2 yrs old, CB. Once I got him in this cage he wouldn't dare show himself, especially when feeding. It took few months but now he lets me watch him feed. He dosent care aslong as I don't touch him lol.

They get calmer with age

When I first got my cham he wouldnt even let me touch him he would start hissing at me when ever my hand got close. Now a few years later I can touch him somtimes and help him get back up to the top of his cage when he goes down to the floor to use the bathroom
