There seems to be mixed information on this. I was under the impression that only veiled chameleons lay eggs without breeding. I have come across a few posts that say all female chameleons do this. My female is a senegal.
Once the animal hits sexual maturity it can happen. The best thing to do is to not overfeed the animal or keep the cage super hot, and make sure there is a proper laying bin in the cage at all times in case she needs to lay.
I've been wondering that as well.. Seeing as my Senegal will probably hit maturity soon! Thanks for the info.. I'll still keep it available for her though!
