I would wait on the dubia's, babies are very picky with them.My veiled chameleon (one year old, female) has only fallen once, and it was because I had taken her outside and was bringing her back to her cage. She was so excited to get back to her little sanctuary that she reached for the branch before it was within her reach Your little one should be good to go. Also dubia roaches are a good investment. They come in every size imaginable and they don't escape like crickets do. They are real quiet and don't smell. My little girl loves them and they are really easy for her to eat. If you were to buy those the smallest size would be perfect. Good luck!
Depending on size, I can't see him in person, I would wait based on the pictures maybe a month, or depending how fast he grows.I am in California I live on the central coast. I am just trying different things out. At this point I feel comfortable with it in I have a lot going on near the top and he is very diligent in using his tail to wrap around branches etc while climbing around. But I will take that in to consideration as he grows becomes heavier and as he will need more space I'm looking at screen cages now 24x24x48 I just got my shipment of 1/4 crickets he ate 7 in a row so I will hold off on fruit flys also got some butter worms in today I ordered some Phoenix worms any other suggestions and will Hornworm size small be ok for him to eat now? Or is he still to small? I just let the some crickets in the cage for him to hunt I also have a feeder dish for the butter worms what else would be appropriate to just let go in the cage for a variety diet?!
Awe I'm so sorry that's really sad.I am in St. Paul. I wish we lived closer, as I'd love to see that little baby cham of yours. I recently had to have mine put to sleep and I miss her so much, and yours reminds me of her...
I added 3 very small Areca palms in the red magnetic planters hanging on the screen on 3 sides and one good size schefflera
Okay I took the statue out and replaced it with live plants and added dripper 24/7 also with misting system going for 4 hours a day for 2 mins. He's hiding so well it's like a where's Waldo. Maybe that will be his name Waldo.
Wow, the enclosure looks great!!! Just turn of the dripper at night, you want water to be off at night. I have the lights and the dripper set up on a timer to go off at 7:30 and come on at 7:30 am
I was close to her back in high school but we are much older now...lol, and have fallen out of touch. I've always imagined Cloquet as being so small that everyone would know each otherI do not
