Does my chameleon have a bendy casque?

I just got my chameleon about a week and now I noticed his casque looks bendy, I have a T5 5.0 linear UVB Light, and I feed him his calcium without d3 everyday he is hydrated so I don’t know if it’s just the angle he is at but here’s a picture please let me know

If you would like to fill out this husbandry sheet so it can be reviewed by everyone you can copy and paste it with your answers. This way the issue you are having with his casque might be identified:
Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
  • Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
  • History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
  • Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

Please Note:
  1. The more details you provide the better and more accurate help you will receive.
  2. Photos can be very helpful.

Welcome on here! Do you have/could you take some better pics of his casque, please? One where he's up close and facing the camera straight on would be good!
It’s a bit hard for him to come to me and and look at me straight but I did get some more pics hopefully this helps

Yes I do that is what I use everyday unless it’s going to be the day to use it with D3
Okay, so you want to use a phosphorus-free calcium without D3 every feeding, except for one day per week, where you'll rotate between a phosphorus-free calcium with D3 and a multivitamin without D3 (but with preformed Vit. A) weekly, so that each of those two supplements are used once every two weeks

Already I’ll double check to see if I am using a phosphorus free calcium but yea that’s my plan to rosters one day each week between the D3 and multivitamin one

So I can not tell with the casque... I see other areas of concern though. If you fill out the form and post pics of the entire set up including the lights on the top that would be helpful.

One thing I noticed was the fake plants which is something that should be changed to live ones because veiled chameleons love eating plants beacause in the wild they did it to help digest certain caterpillars, even if you don't feed those caterpillars it's still baked into their brain to eat plants so you could imagine it would be a bad thing for them to eat plastic plants which can cause impaction which can lead to death.

welcome! its hard to tell with the pics but chams need to be higher up in their cage so you need to add more branches so closer to the uvb or you will have metobolic bone disease issues. Beman is an expert at cage setups so complete the form and you will get some great advice.
