So...on monday i was in a car crash drunk driver drove straight onto my lane and swerved to avpid from hitring him. He hot me ne ways and i flipped my vette over. Cops could not really understand how a car so low could flip over but it happened. Luckily i was by myslef and nothing really happened to me but some minor cuts and bruises. I was in the hospital for two days and completly forgot i had left my chameleon out the day i flipped over. While i was in the hospital we were having really ugly weather here where im from no sun watsosver raining all day with 50ish degree weather in the day and high 30s at nite my last nite at the hospital i realized my chaleon was outside. Rushed the drs and murse to let me out. I had no family around to go and check up on him. I really didnt expect to see my veiled alive the day i got home as i heard theyre not suppose to go below 60. As i. Got home went straight to his cage and to my surprise he was actually up on his perch as if the weather was just slightly cold. He had really dark colors showong i was just so happy to see hom alive and movong. Rushed him inside turnd the lights on and put a heater on him today i wake up nd put sum superworms in his cup and he ate 3 or 4 out my hand nd just went on as if the 2 days at almost 36 degree weather had not faised him. Just thought i wouldblet somenof the peoplenhere on thenforums know as they would appreciate. That my chameleon of almost 3 years did not die. And is doing great btw.

Glad to hear you both are okay. Just so you know, adult veileds can handle temporary temperatures near freezing if they can warm up properly during the day (in case some other freak accident happens.)
