Dose anyone else have this issue????

Today I went to mist my panther chameleon(who loves it),he was in mid cage back in the right corner. the moment I opened the door he charged forward(really fast and jumped onto my floor. I picked him up and he seems OK and is normal as ever,but he has never done this, has it happened to anyone else????

my guy has fallen from about that height and he is fine, so i hope yours is too. Maybe he wanted to get out really bad?

If he landed on his feet he should be good, if he's moving, eating, and climbing he should be good. He may have wanted attention! My guy comes to the front of the cage to look at me EVERY DAY when I change out his morning poop and paper towels and turns bright turquoise and green with sometimes bright yellow. Some chams have that personality... mine loves people to notice and spoil him ah... My Yoshi

That's what I thought,I took him outside yesterday for the first time since I got him . I picked him up and Inspected him and took him to spot outside and he was as normal as ever. When I mist his cage he always come to the front and sits in it and baths pretty well.So I assume he loves it,Also I was told to soak him like that From purchaser. He was normal all day and,kept regular time for feeding, misting,etc. this happened right around the time I took him out side yesterday.so this is what I was thinking.

Sometimes chams do what I call the suicide drop/jump.

Its an escape mechanism.

Im sure hes fine, but just keep an eye on him.
