Dragon Strand Large Clearside Atrium

Ordered the Dragon Strand Large Clearside Atrium, looking for input on lights to order. I was considering the quad fixture and would like to know which lights I should order with it. I’m guessing run UVB and UVA bulbs in the quad fixture and then a separate heat lamp but would like to know if anybody has a better setup/idea. Thank you

Tell Todd at lightyourreptiles the species you are keeping when you order the quad fixture. He'll make sure you have the right bulbs...usually a UVB bulb, a plant bulb, and two 6500K bulbs.

The quad fixtures put off a nice amount of heat. Just make sure the branches are at different distances from the fixture and the animal will find a nice gradient.

Good for you. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the clear sided enclosure from Bill and a quad light fixture from Todd. OCK is right! E-mail Todd and tell him what you want to keep and give him dimensions of your setup. He'll get you the right mix in your lighting setup.

What chameleon are you getting or have that you are upgrading the cage size too? If you are buying your first I think it is only fair to warn you about the "Chameleon Effect".

No it’s not my first Chameleon and currently I have a male veiled a little less than a year old. He’s in a large reptibreeze right now but he’s getting big and with all the plants and vines it’s honestly a little tight. So want to give him a big new home

Large Atrium is the way to go for "more room!". Have you told him? If you have, he is probably thinking: Hopefully he doesn't just mean a large Reptibreeze when he says "extra space"! (Yes, sometimes I talk to lizards)
