Driftwood for Panther Habitat

Hello again,
Tomorrow I will be on the hunt for a great piece of Driftwood for the bottom of my Panther enclosure. I know he will very likely never spend time down there, but I'd like it for aesthetic reasons.

Is there anything I should watch out for? Or anything I should do with the piece of wood before putting it in his cage?

Drift wood is for fish.. You should concider manzanita sandblasted wood or any other relevant wood? Make sure its sandblasted and heat cured to prevent pestisides..

I have drift wood in one of my cages, its a tall skinny piece with a couple arms. It has been in there for 2 years, I wash it when I wash the cage and it is doing just fine. My chameleon does crawl on it sometimes. nothing wrong with adding wood. You may want to wash it with a bleach water solution or bake it to be sure anything growing on it is killed.
