Drinking in front of me

It's official my male ambilobe has become comfortable around me he is drinking in front of me I'm afraid to get to close to him but it's about time. Now the female has to warm up to me some. It took the male a little under a month how about your chams

I have had my baby cham about 3 months old for a little less than 3 weeks. Still trying to get him to not hiss every time I try to take him out of his cage! Finally got him outside for some rays and he loved it he was so mad when we took him back outside. What did you do to make yours more comfortable around you?

Everyday I leave tgere door open for 10 minutes for about a week. Then I left there doors open with my hand in the door way for as long as I could. Then I left a stick that lead from there doors to a plant outside the cage. Mainly you just need to be consistent but not be a threat there is a great thread in here on taming search for it. If you follow it and your chams are healthy it'll happen. Auto misters make it easy for them to drink since its consistent. Good luck

I know most say chams are shy and won't drink in front of people but not 1 I have is shy. Even my Jackson's that are wild caught drink right in front of me.
Even with their cage door open and me messing with their cage they still drink in front of me.
Maybe I'm lucky.

I must be very lucky. I've only had my baby male veiled a week and I have seen him drink loads of times and I have even held the dripper tubing at him and he has drank from it while I held it. Must be the way he was reared since hatching id say...he is even very comfortable making himself at home on my thumb lol
