dubia roaches ? let me know

there are dimmers for the heatpad but they runn about 30 or like 40 bux and i cant spend that money yet first step for me is promist and then i can worry about the dimmer i dont want a fire but i dont think it is getting that hot they breed like crazy and they were at about 105 now i htink they are around 95

in total i have had the colony for about 2 months and i have had 2 females die i have no mold and i put fresh veggies or fruit in there all the time aswell as cricket yummies they love that and clean out evrything about one time evry 2 weeks maby 3

i think the only problem i have right now is the heat they are getting there is a sticky tape on one side of the heatpad should i stick it to the outside of the tank or leave it where it is how it is

Just keep doing what your doing, maybe you just had two old lady roaches.

If you have any more, I'd start to evaluate again.

roaches

Your roaches can die off from not having enough humidity as well. It causes an incomplete molt and that is a big killer with roaches. Let's put it this way, if your roaches aren't breeding it's either not enough humidty or not enough heat.... or too much of both! Lower the temp, raise the humidity is my recommendation.

Adult females wouldn't be molting anymore though, that's what makes it strange.

Good point Rhett's got though - roaches can go for months without food, but only a week without water.

for now they are getting their water from fruits but in a couple days my shippment from petco will come and i got 2 big bottles of that gel water and 2 big juggs of cricket food

how would i go about keeping humidity in there they are breeding right now and i have not kept any sort of humidity in there at all

Spray 2-3 times a week. Spray the sides of container lightly two to three pumps dont spray to much or else mold which = DEATH.
