hi, i have a one year old female veiled, and i've been reading about over supplementing and i want to avoid this so i have a few questions. the dust i have and have been using is ICB (Insect Cricket Balancer) by T-Rex it reads on the back that it's "designed to be used at every feeding" and i have been ever since i got her about 3 months ago, i put the crickets n a plastic can w/ dust and "swirl" them arond thy are completley covered ghost white. Is ths dust good or should i use somthing else or different amount any recomendations?
I ask because well, first of all this is my first chameleon so i'm rookie and a couple of days ago i noticed she had white nostrils and thanks to the help on this forum i learned its caused by over supplementig and maybe needing more humidity.
thanks!

I have never heard about that supplement before but what everyone recommends on here and I use it also is herptivite, reptical, and miner-all o. The white nostrils are definatly from oversupplementing. Make sure only to dust a few feeders at a time and I only dust every 2 weeks. Also make sure the feeders are not all white. You should barely be able to see any dust on them

DUDE!!, that was the same stuff i was using for my last chameleons, i bought it this time but now i dont use it anymore, way to many ingredients without analysis results, and i think it didnt give enough calcium cuz my last chamy had a lil mbd in his foot even though i used the crap everyday. i would move toward what they recommend here, i did; and you can get more info if peeps know what your using.

The T-Rex product is formulated to be a daily "all-in-one" supplement dust. It is a very good product , but I have an issue with any All- in -one type supplement.

Cham's nutritional requirements differ from one individual to another and from species to species. The all-in-one approach , does not allow the keeper to tweak any part of the supplementation components.

I much prefer to use calcium, calcium with D3, vitamins and minerals seperately, so that I can adjust the ratios as needed.
