lately ive noticed that some of the leaves in my chams cage have bite marks as though the chameleon has been eating the leaves, i feed him plenty of food evryday, is this a normal habit?

Very normal for many species

A few searches here will produce many prior threads about this. Many websites talk about it as well. It is not a matter of how many crickets or other insects are available. While we are not sure of all the needs that are addressed by chameleons eating various types of live plants and roughage, there is little doubt that it is an instinctive and common behavior, and serves vital needs. When observed in the quantity that a little research will show, such behaviors are to be accepted as normal, and then provided for as best you are able, and not seen as something wrong and in need of correction. Hope all goes well.

my veiled loves to eat the ficus tree she get enough crickets and I offer her kale and collard greens and she still prefers the ficus tree.her health looks good though.:)

Amy's rather partial to a munch on her hibiscus and schefflera plants! My first female cham had no interest in eating her plants whatsoever. In fact she had one schefflera plant that was in her cage the whole time I had her, whereas Amy is on schefflera number 3 and hibiscus number 2! They are all different - some are leaf munchers and some are not!:D

My veiled Kai is always munchin on his Pothos. He eats plenty of crickets and superworms. What can I say my boy likes to eat!lol
