Eating plants?

It’s unusual but not in heard of for a panther to eat greens.
The ones that do are usually trying to get nutrients their diet isn’t providing him. Please fill out the help form with emphasis on the Feeder/Gutload/supplementation sections.

◦ Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
◦ Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
◦ Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
◦ Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
◦ History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

◦ Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
◦ Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
◦ Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
◦ Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
◦ Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
◦ Location - Where are you geographically located?

I am wondering if he's dehydrated at all. Like chronically so in small amounts? That's not a long misting session, how long are your hand mistings? I never go under 2 minutes.
The other thing I recommend is if you aren't using fruits and veggies in your gutload routine yet definitely should start including them. I use fruits, veggies, and leafy greens in my food regime for my feeders including my gutload.
When did he start eating the plant?

I thought it was the crickets, but them I saw him pulling on the leaves
I would have to say at least a month or so.
I use water Crystal's with your gut loads but I hate adding things that will smell after a few days.
I'm going to increase the misting time and frequency and see how that helps
Can't wait to get a December build of the dragonstrand so I dont get my whole dresser wet

What are you gutloading and watering the feeders with? Do you dust them? How long and often are you misting? Do you have a dripper? If you fill out the ask for help form, it will help us help you.

He eats daily a combination of crickets black solder flies
Treats are horn worms and superworms
I gutload the crickets with the forum seller Andees gutload "

My crickets have water crystals and the potato that they shipped with.
I always make sure they have plenty of water crystals.
I actually put some kale in yesterday and I think he ate it.
I think your other questions I answered in the questions sheet.
I have a feeling it's a water issue
I have a dripper but it's not setup.
Think that would be a good addition?

Potato is a bad gutload, use the gutload you bought (unless I’m reading this wrong and you use potatoes for watering).

Don’t think Amy is gutloading with potatoes, they were in the box her crickets shipped in.
Water crystals are your problem, scrap them. Get a dry gutload like cricket crack and mix in water until it’s a bit thinner than peanut butter and serve in small quantity’s. I usually put the mix on a deli cup lid to keep the tank clean.
