Effects of humidity?

Low humidity causes eye irritation, trouble shedding, trouble shooting and catching food, digesting food, constipation or bowel and sometimes hemipene prolapse, eventually kidney failure, organ failure and death. A dehydrated cham will show sunken eyes, skin that looks wrinkled and papery, bits of old shed stuck on, the casque will look sunken, not full. Their tongue doesn't seem to stick to feeders. When you take a fold of skin between thumb and fingers and release it, it will not bounce back flat right away, but stay tented.

Overly high humidity can be OK as long as there is good air flow through the cage/tank. No air flow and constantly high humidity leads to respiratory infections due to molds and bacteria build up in the cage.

If you mean one of those small terrarium ultrasonic foggers, save your money and buy an ultrasonic room humidifier instead. They are built better, are easier to use, and can be less expensive than the mini-terrarium types. Put the humidifier above or over the cage and let the fog pour down over the plants on a limited cycle. Depending on the model you can attach some pvc water pipe or flexible pool tubing to the spout and aim the fog right in to the cage. Cycle it on and off with a multiple setting lamp timer.

get the walgreens one from jdogs vid. i think its only $40 online and i believe orders over $25 have free shipping. i bought mine in store for $50 because i was impatient. if you look at the reviews online a lot of people complain about too much mist output :) thats ideal for us cham keepers.

I have one of those and a reptifogger. I live in colorado where it is 5-10 percent humidity year round. It is terribly hard to keep up the humidity :\

Can you be more specific? I need a humidifier, sounds like you like this one but I can't figure out which one it is.
