Egg hatching question

I have my 1st ever Panther clutch hatching out now. I had the eggs divided into two containers. The first baby out of one container hatched Saturday night and now all the eggs have hatched out of that container. The other container 2 of the eggs pipped on Saturday night and the rest pipped Sunday and Monday but not one has come out of the egg yet. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to help them along? Its making me nervous having them sit in the eggs this long.

Thanks in advance

So far not a problem....once the egg has piped...the baby will remain in the egg (or part way)to absorb the the remaining yoke....DON'T try to assist it out!!!

I guess this thread got them moving just had one hatch. Hopefully they will all hatch over the next couple days.
How long have you had them sit pipped?
Also the one that hatched disturbed a couple of other eggs in the container do I need to worry about that?

Sometime days they will sit....I've had clutches of Oustalets take months to all hatch....and don't worry about the new hatchling disturbing the other eggs...

While different eggs in the same clutch may hatch at different times, once the eggs pip the babies can not stay in the eggs for a long time....just in case someone thinks that. They should be out of the egg once it pips in a couple of days at the longest.

Ive had em sit in the egg for 4-5 days before. They still hatched out fine. You dont want the incubation medium to be too dry during this time so that they can still exit the egg. I had a retained clutch start pipping before the 4th of july weekend and they started hatching on Sat. Some didnt hatch til Mon. These guys/gals started pipping last Wed or Thurs.

Well I was worried for nothing they all hatched yesterday and this morning. So after pipping they were in the egg for 3-4 days. Probably should make a new thread for this but what supplement schedule do you use on your baby panthers?
