I usually remove moldy eggs and cut open a few more to see if the problem is consistent. Then work on the health of your female. There is excellent care information on this forum at the top of this page under Resources.

Thanks for the advice. It was 8 months ago when I first mate my femele. She laid 34 eggs and only 19 of them fertilized. Then she mated 2 months ago and laid 26 eggs. All of them fertilized I think, they look so bright and white.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

so I think this is the time that I have been waiting for 7 months 16 days
I looked at it carefully. It is like egg position, first I thought it was dead but I saw it open and close its mouth 2 times. Waiting for your comments for bad pictures o_O

The one you took out of the egg...did you cut the umbilical cord when you took it out?

They can lay there and appear to be dead when they are still in the egg. It's usually said that its best to let them get out of the eggs on their own.

Also...If your vermiculite is too moist during incubation the eggs can take on too much water and it suffocates the baby. When you take a handful of the vermiculite you should only be able to squeeze out a drop or two of water to be of the right moisture level.

Good luck with the rest of the eggs.

Is the incubation temperature for your eggs always in between74.3-75.2 from the beginning to the end??
Also I have found if the eggs are too warm and hatch early,neonates can fail to thrive,some like let the eggs go thru a cool down period and slowly raise the temperature back up just for their full development.
