Enclosure sizes?

By the description I think this may be a bad choice. It says 20 PSI. My local water pressure is 42PSI and is barely enough to start the nozzles misting. My pump pushes 85 psi and that creates a very nice mist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the mistking pumps are 125 psi.

Yeah think so, missed that 20psi thing.

A lot of pumps don't seem to list how much pressure they make.

This for example, there are 2 models and they are adjustable. Prices are nice and cheap! Can get the 606 for like 25 bucks shipped. It does 82-153 gph but I'm not sure how much pressure. I would think at those ratings I could get 80+ PSI. These are supposed to be really quiet though.

They also have these

Which the 400 is like 26 bucks from petco.

Before we leave the topic of lights lol, what MV bulbs do you use? And you said double deep fixtures, does that mean it uses 2 bulbs? Or it's twice as deep? I'm guessing it's just a deep fixture.

Maxijet pumps are for volume. Those types of pumps are rated by head pressure mostly. Meaning the volume they pump decreases by each foot of elevation. These can not effectively pump the high PSI needed for these nozzles. NOt to mention it can be a pain to get them sized down to the 1/4" line size.

Well in that case I'm not sure the pump would be all that cheap lol.

This link is for the MINI domes. Make sure what ever bulb you get can go in the MINI domes. I have the full size version of those domes and the MV bulbs I have fit just fine.

This is the MV bulb that I use. Watch the video also, it will talk about the dome required.

My domes,

So, if we're using a UV FL bulb, do I need to use an MV heat lamp? Or could I just get one of the incandescents?

I recently got a male and female panther and put them in there own 1.5x1.5x3 feet cage and the male ate fine and is still in his cage but the female barely ate so I down sized her to a 1x1x1.5 exo Terra and she eats like a pig now.
They were about 3-4 months old.
So I would suggest doing the same if you are experienced with chams and can see signs to look out for or not take the risk and go with smaller to start with.

Yeah I'll keep a close eye on him. I could pick up a smaller cage for pretty cheap but I think I can make it work ok by just cup feeding.

On that note I'm cutting wood as we speak. I'm going to start a build thread though for pics and what not of the whole process. I generally try and do everything right and somewhat overkill from the very beginning so maybe it'll help other newbs to see the whole process.

Yes it does, and some other things. He said it's not too loud but he said it was in a closet under his stairs so? He said he used it for about a week and not constant use, then figured out his pressure problems weren't related to his supply but a filter. Looks like it comes with some pressure switches or something as well but I'm not sure?

Well I got the light fixture in, it's pretty nice for the price. The paint isn't perfect, and the cover over the lights is just a think piece of plexi. The reflector is very reflective and nicely polished. It has 3 different plugs and switches, 2 for the T5's and one for the moon light LED's. I think for 86 bucks you can't really go wrong with this one. It's very bright as well :)

I didn't realize how tiny T5 bulbs are either! I got my Arcadia 6% T5HO bulb as well.

Speaking of which...if someone needs a T8 Repti Glo 10.0 bulb for a 36" fixture I've got one lol.
