Exo Terra Moss Mat

Does anyone have any experience or feedback regarding using the Exo Terra Moss Mat as a substrate?

I have purchased one for an enclosure I am putting together, however it appears that you can pull parts of the 'moss' away from the mat with your fingers... it comes away as threads and definitely looks like something that could potentially be ingested by mistake.

At the moment it's looking like this will go in the bin and I'll be going back to Repti-Carpet.

Anyone else have any experiences or feedback?

I bougth a moss mat for my cresties. I found the same as you - even shaking it outside saw loads of 'fluff' (moss) fall off. I haven't botherd to use it, its too risky, even though I dont feed bugs to them in their cages. I don't think its very safe for their little feet either!
