Eye drops

so I went to the vet and got some eye drops for my guy a few days ago. I saw this on his eye this morning. It almost is swollen in a different spot. I'm just wondering what this is!! Is it an infection or debris?? The vet never really said as to what was going on and I guess it's my fault for not asking. But what could it be?

Did they eye look like that before the eye drops? Why did his eye look like that prompted you to take him to the vet?

It pretty much looks like that when we took him. There hasn't been any discharge or anything. The vet thought it could just be a swollen gland that got clogged up. Today is only the second day of drops so maybe I'm just paranoid.

I'd call the vet and ask a few questions. The most important being:
"Okay, what exactly did you think was wrong with my veiled?"
"Okay, what exactly are these eye drops you gave me? Antibiotic? Medicated?"
"Fine, well I would like to send you a picture of how the treatment is going. What is your email?"

I agree don't be afraid to call in to get information, I do it with my vet all the time.

My girl a few month back had an eye issue . We brought her to vet , Turned out it was allergy eye . Looked similar but she wasn't opening her eyes . We did drops , it took 3 days to look better . If you're not sure why there treating or what defiantly give them a call . If there's something in the eye you will need to flush or the meds won't work properly . You want to get that info from you're vet .

That's really interesting; I haven't heard of chameleon allergies! What was she allergic to?

i wouldn't defiantly give them a call, but id definitely give them a call. its good to get info from your vet, especially in a nice way.

Me either , Frances is my first chameleon. All my life we have had beardies , and geckos . We are not overly sure . She had been in a glass enclosure with mostly fake plants . We had her maybe 2 to 3 weeks , when we noticed an issue . . We changer her plants to real got her a new enclosure .
