Fall at an "old country fair"...

So my husband and me escaped without our daughters today, to go to the only thing we do without them. We went to the Freyburg Fair which is an "old country fair" in all of it's glory!! There is nothing like warm hand spun Maple cotton candy on a cool fall day:)

Plus I love The lizard Lounge, CF has become one of my favorite "me" places to go as no one else gets my obsession and this area is awesome, you can see what all the people we trust are like on a day to day basis, this site just keeps getting better(y)

That sounds amazing! My husband was just in the Poconos at the Bloomsberg Fair, which is huge! He was cold up there too, but it's still toasty warm here in Naples, FL. I'm still wearing shorts and flip-flops (the official uniform of Floridians!) :ROFLMAO:

You are so LUCKY!! I have had to pack away flip flops and taken out the boots and shorts are now replaced with pants and fleece:( Our wood stove was even on last night:mad:

To be fair it was breezy today, and only got up to 76 or so. We'll make a deal - I'll keep those crazy hurricanes, and you can keep the fluffy cold white stuff. :D

I saw that storm developing over the last couple days Laurie and I figured you were gonna get some. Hang in there, it won't be too bad.

Wow! I guess I'm blessed! We have had 1 cold snap, but now we are back to beautiful, sunny, mid 70s with no foul weather in sight! But have no fear, winter will punish us with vengeance! I live in the snowiest city in America. We even surpass Anchorage, by far, on a routine basis!

Trust me, it's the truth when Floridians say they don't even pay attention until a hurricane hits Category 3. That's a little depression in the Gulf right now, and it should probably stay that way.

Yes, that is my fear too, that winter is going to punish us with tons of snow for vengeance....and I am not ready:(

I feel that is a fair deal, as much as I hate having snow up past my windows, I know I would hate hurricanes moreo_O
