Feeder Cup question

Ok I have an ideal but wanted to run it though with people on here first. First off just a heads up I'm full of ideal for Ringo's indoor cage! So here it goes!

Back when I was 15 I had a cockatiel named Jasper, well he passed away since then. So my mom sent me some stuff she wasnt sure if she should of just sold it or whatever. Anyways she sent me to of his old feeder cups. they are the ones that you can screw onto the wire cage and stuff. Well with Ringo's new cage I was wanting to put those feeder cups in there for his crickets, worms, roaches whatever. I was going to screw the base into a thin piece of board and attach that board to the side of the cage.

Well upon thinking about this ideal I was trying to decide on WHERE i'm going to put these cups. Should they be up high or down low or in the middle? Should 1 cup be at one side and the other on the other side? He wonders his cage ALL the time so I'm just trying to figure it out.

I went with the bird feeder cups mainly because the would be easier to clean... also can these be put in the cage? http://www.lowes.com/pd_8212-1274-WD100DB_0__?productId=3452404&Ntt=planters&Ns=p_product_price|0

It really does not matter where you put it but just make sure it is not too low. Also you want to make sure it does not get misted on if you have a mister or dripper going so not too drown the feeders. Other than that just make sure that branches can easily lead to the feeder cup giving them easy access to it and it should work great. I have mine about midway up on the inside side of the cage. Post pics once you have it setup.

crickets will jump so better be a deep cup and smooth as the climb also.

Thats why alot of us just make a feeder out of a milk jug, juice bottle, 2 ltr etc.. . and some screen.

example of my enclosures w/feeders on the side

Each enclosure has a different type of feeder because each cham is different indeed. 1 will not use the clear feeders so i had to have the opaque white milk jug. The other would not use the rectangle feeder so I tried a round one and he is all over it. Point is they are as unique as they are colorful and I had to try 3 different solutions before I had each happy.
I try to place them on the basking/drier side and upper area of enclosure with a branch that cuts across the middle of the opening so they can see the whole open area.
