Feeders? We don't need no stinkin feeders... Just superworms!

I confess. For the past 3 months, my panther subsists on 3 superworms every other day or every 2 days. He adores them. He does not care for flies, crickets, silkworms, dubia/hissing roaches, wax worms, hornworms. I have not tried locusts yet. They are next on my list. Do not bother to inform me about how terrible this is and how impaction is inevitable...I know and feel guilty all the time. He has healthy white urates with well formed/colored poop every 2-3 days.

Can someone recommend a reliable locust company to buy from? I have not tried to starve him yet either to "make" him eat crickets again.

I would think, if he wont eat crickets, he wont eat locust either!?

I have a jacksons that wont touch any kind of worm.
Of course, his tastes could change at anytime

Not the case. Ive had chams that when on a cricket strike would turn around and eat a hopper. They will also be attracted to hoppers if you can catch the green variety. They love anything green in color. Katydids are another good treat that will get a finicky cham to eat. And all mine love blue bottle flies. Not the best feeder as far as nutrition goes but a good enrichment feeder to be fed occasionally.

Good call on the green.
To pantherenvy possibly try dusting some other feeder with spriulina (sp) it will give them a green color and great for the chams.
Also vary the size of the feeders that you are offering.

Thanks for the advice.

Simply stop offering superworms, and he will stop eating them.
it is NOT starving him to do this, since you will be offering other feeder choices. If/when he is actually hungry, he Will eat other bugs.

If I give a 2 year old child the choice between icecream or vegetables, I know which one the kid is likely to choose. If I dont offer icecream at all, if all that I put in front of this hypothetical child is vegetables, that kid WILL eat the vegetables way before he starts to starve
